‘Tex-Fusion 2008’, a two day event which will bring together buyers and sellers from entire nation, begins in the new cloth market, Ahmedabad, from March 25, to boost local textile products.
Mr Bharat Chajjer, Convener of the event informed media in a meeting today that, the purpose of holding this expo is to showcase extensive range of textile products Ahmedabad can offer to garment manufacturers, exporters, traders, designers and other industries related to textile.
More than 2000 participants are expected to grace Tex-Fusion. Ahmedabad is mainly famous for cotton and blended fabrics, which it will put up for display .
The meet is being organized on behalf of Textile Commissioner, Ministry of Textiles, along with Powerloom Development and Export Promotion Council in association with Maskati Cloth Market Mahajan, Ahmedabad.
