Jiangmen Kam Fung Fibre Technology Co. Ltd. has quickly recognised the importance and benefits of its MPS dye-stuff and chemical automatic distribution system developed by German dyeing technology specialist Thies.
The Chinese company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Victory City International Holdings Limited, now one of the world’s largest knitted fabric manufacturers, with a vast manufacturing complex at Xinhui, located 50km south of the
The MPS system is providing Jiangmen Kam Fung’s yarn dyeing operations with an unprecedented advantage over its local competitors with the ability to precisely control the supply of dyestuffs and chemicals to over 100 yarn-dyeing kiers in configurations of up to 10,000 pounds (twin kiers) capacity.
It includes some 69 Thies eco-bloc X high temperature dyeing machines with varying capacities, characterised by the latest know-how in respect of liquor flow and circulation, flow rate and economic efficiency. The eco-block units can accommodate many different types of materials including packages, muffs, warp beams, loose material, tops and ribbons.
They are laid out to achieve the ultimate liquor ratio, depending on the dyeing method, package form and substrate.
The short liquor ratios guarantee a gentle treatment of the yarn, minimising potential breakages in the subsequent winding and knitting processes.
